Shipping Policy
1. The prices listed in the offer at the time of the order apply. The prices given are final prices, which means that they include the applicable German statutory value added tax. The goods remain our property until the purchase price has been paid in full.

2. Shipping costs are added to the indicated product prices. You can find out more about the amount of the shipping costs when you add the items to the shopping bag.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Since we are a small business, we only ship twice a week (Tuesdays and Saturdays). Please consider this, when placing your order.

Return policy
1. We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

2. All items returned must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If these requirements are not met, the return of goods can be refused.

3. Please note that we are a very small business, so we cannot cover the cost of return postage. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for the returned product to reach us may vary. Please consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If returning from outside of the EU, please make sure to classify as RETURN on the customs declaration. Otherwise, we will incur a duty charge, that will be payable by you, for not complying with returns procedure.

4. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Damages and issues:
5. Please note that all of our handbags are handmade in Uganda and slight irregularities in size and colour may occur. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

6. The beads out of which the handbags are made are purchased and inspected for quality by our artisan in Uganda. However, it can always happen that one of the beads may break. If this happens, please contact hello@ekkula.com.

Depending on availability of the products, we will either exchange the item or reimburse you, if the claim is made within 12 months after the purchasing date. After the 12 months after the purchasing date have passed, we cannot take any responsibility for the damaged bag anymore.
Exchanges:
7. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for a new item of your choice.

Refunds:

8. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.
